Winter Break!
Hey again. It's finally winter break! Well... it's been winter break for at least a week or 2. Anyways my family and I went to China for the break and I thought I would write about our trip, or what has happened so far. We were in Beijing for the 1st three days of our trip. We climbed the Great Wall of China and walked up and down over 2,200 steps in all! We also saw an awesome acrobatic show, The Forbidden City, Tian'an Men Square, and we were lucky enough to get to drive by the Birds Nest and Water Cube! For the 4th, 5th, and 6th day we drove up to Chengdu. We took a boat ride to a huge Buddha and walked even more steps, at least 1,200. We also took a cable car up to a temple. We of course counted the stairs (it's what we do when we hike in places with stairs) and we walked at least 4,300 steps! Now I am sitting at my Dad's computer at the hotel on New Years Eve typing a blog. Well... have A Happy New Years and A Good Break!

You are enjoying a 'winter break' by being in China. All that stair climbing kept you warm and fit. You were lucky to see where the Olympics took place. I can't wait to hear more about your trip. Happy New Year!
That must be a lot of steps! What did the Olympics stadium look like???
Wow, it must have been a spectalour view from the Great Wall of China. The thousands of steps you counted while climbing were an excellent exercise for you. I would love to visit China and go through similar experiences sometime.
